This dish soap is made with a zero superfat to make it extremely cleansing and sudsy. "Superfat” in soap making terms is in reference to the amount of excess fats soap makers intentionally leave left over in soap recipes. While a superfatted soap is great for skin, it isn’t for a cleansing soap like a dish soap. That’s why we make our dish soap and laundry soaps with zero superfat. No clogged drains!

Different fats give soap different properties when they’re turned into saponified fats. While coconut oil is greasy, saponified coconut oil is very cleansing and produces a rich and bubbly lather.
