We take orders for custom breastmilk soap.

Do you totally love the idea of your babies having the healthiest, most nourishing soap ever made with nothing other than pure goodness? Breastmilk soap is the gentlest natural cleanser for babies very delicate, thin skin. Your breastmilk has antibodies your body makes specifically for your baby to calm and soothe their skin. It soothes eczema, diaper rash, cradle cap, and baby acne, while being totally free from the harsh, toxic chemical laden junk "soap" at the grocery store. Many products labeled as baby soap is not even real soap! And unfortunately, those products often leave babies feeling miserable. There's nothing worse than watching your little one suffer from dry, itchy skin because of the harsh chemicals in their soap, so we are very happy to be able to help out by offering custom breastmilk soap.

 

Here's how it works.

1) Email us at thebubbleboutiquellc@gmail.com with your order and arrange a time for you to drop off your breastmilk for a custom order. An invoice will be sent to your email with a link to pay.

2) Reserve a minimum of an ounce to a maximum of nine ounces of your breastmilk for each loaf of soap you would like to order. Keep it frozen and in a bag with your first and last name on it.

3) At the designated drop off time, place your bag of liquid gold in the cooler on the porch of the soap studio. If you are not local, you can ship your breastmilk to us with one day or overnight shipping with ice packs. If shipping, please let us know when to expect the package arrival. We are not responsible for damaged breastmilk in transport.

4) Custom orders will be made within the week your invoice is paid. When your custom breastmilk soap is ready, we will contact you to arrange a time for local pick up OR send you an invoice to ship your custom order to you. Shipping cost for this service is a flat rate fee of $8.

Options for bar soap:

1) Do you want the base fat of the soap to be made from beef suet tallow or rice bran oil?

NOTE: Beef tallow bar soap will be an additional $25/ loaf. All of our beef tallow is hand-rendered.

2) Do you want to add in colloidal oatmeal and/or goat milk for additional skincare benefits?

3) Scent or no scent?

NOTE: It is not recommended to use essential oils on children under age two.

4) How many bars would you like? Range is 6 to 12. Our bars are usually cut into 9 per loaf.

NOTE: The more bars you choose the smaller they will be. It is the same size batch. You will receive roughly 2.5 lbs of soap either way.

5) Crinkle cut or straight cut?

 

A note on shelf life of breastmilk soap: Once breastmilk is made into soap, it is shelf stable. We utilize the traditional methods of soap making to make our bar soap. No melt and pour bases. This allows us to use fresh ingredients in our soap without the risk of those ingredients going bad. The saponification process preserves the vitamin-rich, skin loving fresh ingredients.
